Basil Pesto!
Here’s a simple and super delicious basil pesto recipe from @chefguntas
“This pesto recipe is my all-time staple and makes for a dipping and cooling sauce. Once you get hooked on to this, there’s just no going back! 🤤🌱
INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups fresh basil leaves
-1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-1/3 cup roasted walnuts
-3 garlic cloves, minced
-1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
-Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
💚 Pesto is traditionally made on a mortar and pestle and we’ve made it just like that. However, if you don’t have one, you can make it using a food processor.
💚 We’ve made it with walnuts which can be replaced with cashews, almonds or even pine nuts: which is how it’s traditionally made.”
