J.R. Organics is a certified (CCOF) organic vegetable farm located on the beautiful rolling hills of Valley Center in San Diego County, CA. The land was pioneered by the Rodriguez family in the early 1950’s, and is now farmed by Joe, Jr., 4th generation farmer. J R Organics is an old fashioned truck farm where at any given time of the year several different types of fruits and vegetables are being grown, many of them heirlooms. We also grow a wide variety of flowers.

Our flowers and produce are sold through several Farmers’ Markets throughout Southern California. Please stop by and visit us at one of our many locations. We also market flowers and produce through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program with drop off points throughout Southern California. Every year we sponsor a farm tour for our CSA members where everyone feasts on homemade dishes created by the Rodriguez family using the farm produce.

J.R. Organics uses some of the best organic growing techniques available, including crop rotation, green manures, beneficial insects, composting and mulching. We fertilize with worm castings, rock minerals and other organic fertilizers.

You are assured that the produce you receive from J.R. Organics is richer in vitamins, minerals and flavor than most vegetables, herbs and fruits you could obtain anywhere else.
